Finally back up to 70 (therefore, the 13th day of summer), third letter of the Russian alphabet ("vey" - B!) continued score-study for Alban Berg's Altenberg Lieder, Dmitri Shostakovich's Two Fables of Krylov: The Dragonfly and the Ant, Benjamin Britten's Simple Symphony (through fourth page of each), and Paul Hindemith's Happy Sinfonietta: I (2), and composition re The Decameron - Fourth Day: Novel 1 (10).
Local stroll with
Harriet in the early evening, breaking up above endeavors,
to which are added upon return finding old pictures of Crystal and a new one of her mother's

Christopher Luna to The Opus Project presents Opus 3 (8pm, March 30, Berkeley Arts Festival) with his Topographies (2009) -- only our second living composer (the first is moi) be performed by The Opus Project Orchestra.
