August 10 - Awesome Concert
First Awesome Orchestra Concert (at Berkeley's Firehouse Art Hangar, conducted by David Moschler),
featuring Ottorino Respighi's Fountains of Rome and
three fine classical-rock crossovers by
guitarist Matt Benedict-Montgomery,
as orchestrated by percussionist / guest conductor Brian Adam McCune
(first read by the group this past April 20 -- the last of the set with a nice Do Re Me, Re Me Re Te + plus an interior minimalist section of 8 beats, with a rest on one, and 2 sixteenths and an eighth alternately on and off the beat).
Before this, the morning and early afternoon with Harriet and Tisha,
an eighth page of the performance edition for The Twelve Fingers: XII. March, and ninth score-study system re Kurt Weill's String Quartet No. 1: I --
